Tristan followed behind, keeping an eye out for anyone who might whip out a gun and start shooting.

The search took nearly an hour before anything actually happened.
"A spike," Cass said, running down the hallway. He turned the corner and stopped quickly, drawing his sidearm, "Tristan!" he shouted.
Standing down the hall was a woman, holding onto some sort of object, and an Asian man in an exoskeleton; one of the creations of Kiryu Mechanization.

"Damn!" Tristan drew his own sidearm, trying to decide who to point the weapon at.

"This is no concern of yours," the man told them, brandishing his blade at the woman, "Go now, or I have orders to eliminate you as well."
"Not happening," Cass told him, keeping his gun up.

With his outdated revolver, Tristan felt as if he'd brought a knife to a nuke fight.

The woman took her chance to turn and jump out the window at her back. The exo-suited man turned, ready to pursue, but Cass shot him, just missing his head by aiming a bit low. It hit his armor and the bullet flattened.
He turned to the two agents, "Bad idea," he hissed, rushing them.

"Great. We made him mad." Tristan unloaded about 4 rounds into the suit. None of them did any damage.

Cass fired twice, and seeing it wouldn't work, grabbed Tristan by the arm and pulled him into the nearest room, kicking down the door. He ran towards the window, shot it out as he ran, and jumped.

Tristan followed him to the window, and looked down. "Forget that." he said, running down the stairs.

The exo-suited man, because of Tristan's choice, was right behind him now, blade in hand.

Tristan, of course, was too busy running down the stairs to notice.

The man behind him stopped and punched through the wall instead. He leapt out, into the city.
Cass had nearly caught up with the woman from before; he needed to get to her. He left his PDA on, sending a signal to Tristan's for location, hoping he didn't lose it to the pursuer or something, or that would be a stupid idea.

Tristan's PDA bleeped. Cass had sent him a signal, meaning he was probably close to the mark. He kept running down the stairs and out the apartment, following the signal.

As Cass kept searching, he found himself near an alley. He turned into it, gun rising into the face of the woman, who just looked at him.
He held it for a moment before being forced to lower it; forced by her. Her eye contact compelled him.
"Azerin...," he muttered.

Tristan finally caught up. He put his hands on his knees, panting for a second. "Well, you got her cornered. Nice job."
