She pulled the book out, seeing a lock on it. "This book is old as fucking Jesus, and its locked, to boot. I think this is what we're looking for." She began inspecting the lock, which had no keyhole.

"Of course you are, kiddo. Artifacts tend to have long and not-fun histories." Livvy flipped to a random page. The words on the page were shifting around, but soon organized themselves into a readable phrase. "Can you see this?"
