Overview:
An ancient and pure warrior Joan has seen both the good and bad side of humanity and seen many things in the world. As such she has a unbiased view of the world and doesn’t judge things solely on rumours or hearsays, she much prefer to see or hear it with her own eyes before making the final decision. She is also very forgiving of people and will forgive their mistakes no matter how many times they are committed, however she gets touchy when it comes to God and her religion often flying into a rage if someone insults or makes fun of it.

History
Much of Joan’s life is recorded in history books and said in many stories, movies and television series. Born in France Joan received a message from God to fight against the English and support the failing French army, at first skeptical of this she was eventually moved into action when three Archangels appeared to her and implored her to do what God commanded her to do.
She was 12 when she received that vision and for the next 7 years she did as the angels commanded her and brought victory to the French forces, she was invincible in combat due to the protection of God and her mission was well on the way to being fulfilled. On 3 June 1431, a month before her ‘death’, she received another vision from God giving her a choice: she can continue to live as a human and die a peaceful death as a reward for her service, or she can continue to serve for God as his agent in protecting the world. She was told about the numerous artefacts that lay around the world, a threat to the world as a whole in the wrong hands, and that she was needed to fight off the evil that would no doubt come from that.
She deliberated on the decision for a week meditating and contemplating it for that period of time. Finally she agreed and a month later her execution was staged thanks to the help of various people, from then on she stopped aging and became an agent of God going around the world and protecting the world from the artefacts.
Fast forward to the present day Joan is now the leader of the British branch of Division 42, she found the Division to be a perfect place to work at, she would have access to information about the artefacts and she would be able to be on the field and protect the agents at the same time. Her faith never wavered and despite the horrors she had seen of the war she remained a faithful agent of God and continues to fight in his name hoping that one day a world of peace might be established and that her mission, and eternal rest, might be completed.

Joan went inside the cathedral and knelt at the pew before making a short prayer to God. It was her daily habit to go to a church or cathedral and prayed before making her way to the British branch HQ and beginning her work, it had been a habit she developed during her life, nearly five centuries, and she had never missed a mass or failed to go to church everyday.
It was strange, almost surreal, that she was here right now. She never thought in her entire life that she would be an agent of God, that she would be chosen to become his agent and protect the world. She had seen many things in this world that both baffled and scared her, the technology of this world had advanced so far she was almost in awe when the first IPhone came out, who would have thought that they would have been able to build something so sophisticated? A long time ago it would have been called magic and therefore heresy leading to a trial before executing the developer.
It sometimes amused her that she was executed for that crime, the people who were tasked with her ‘execution’ had quite a problem trying to figure out what crime to charge her with. She was a pure girl and therefore she did not have many sins to answer for, naturally she did not use magic but that was the only thing that they could come up with. Therefore heresy was the crime that they ultimately charged her with.
Those people were gone now and she was the only one left standing, she looked forward to the day she completed her mission because it would be the day that the world is truly at peace. The day that the Kingdom of God comes and his son would reign in this world...God still talked to her and guided her, her path was clear and true. Nothing would be able to stop her. No evil would defeat her. No innocent soul will suffer when she is guarding them.
She then exited the cathedral and smiled to herself, it would be a wonderful day yet again and perhaps another exciting adventure on the way.
