It was 8:00 PM, and Noa was sitting in a car in a residential district. She had been given an alien weapon; a blue-gray rifle with an elongated, thin barrel that ended in four prongs. It was an energy weapon of some sort, meant to stop the heart instantly, she had been told. Apparently this was the easiest way to go about this.
Bishop was her support for her first mission, but she didn't know what sort of help he could give. Her assignment was to murder a young girl...

Bishop walked down the street, Gale trotting along beside him. People gave him a wide berth due to the massive hound he had trotting beside him, not on a leash. Bishop approached the car and knocked on the window, motioning to roll down the window.

Noa was on edge, so when he knocked she jumped a little. She saw his face and rolled down the window, panting a little from the shock she got.

"Who's on the business end?" Bishop asked, nodding to the gun. Gale sat next to Bishop, facing outward and watching the crowd.

"A young girl...," she muttered, not wanting to say those words.

"If they're giving you that, there's probably a good reason they want her dead. Did they tell you?"

"They didn't tell me," she told him, "I don't know why they'd want me to...I...I don't want to do it..."

"A little wisdom of the ages for ya; just do it." Bishop said, dropping his voice and leaning in.

"Would you?" she questioned, "Would you just go into that house and murder a six year old girl?" she hissed.

"I learned a long time ago to separate myself from the missions. Work for an organization like this long enough, and your morals will come under fire more than a few times." Bishop said.

"No, I want to live, but I don't want to have to kill a young girl!" she hissed.
