Senseless Cruelty
A collection of RPs, with plots about mutants, zombies, spaceships, and vampires. What tickles your fancy?
The mutant population is drastically increasing across the world, yet their existence is considered a myth to the general public. Those who believe the truth are taken as seriously as Big Foot hunters or UFO conspiracy theorists. Sightings are considered tabloid stories. But even though the masses don't believe, there are actually a lot of mutants around. For the most part, mutants tend to keep their abilities a secret.
There are also the more well known settings from the X-Men universe. Come visit the Institute of Higher Learning or be a baddie and join the Brotherhood, in the open movie universe. Or for the fans of the comics, take your mutants to Utopia or have them join an interesting team that hasn't made the movies yet. Need something more adventurous? How about throwing your mutant into Weapon X?
For those of you who love The Walking Dead, we have an entire plot set in the world of the undead. Band together with other survivors to fight back the cannibalistic hoards, and to survive against the dangerous threat from other people who've changed from the end of the world.
Need more sci-fi? Some space travel? Then check out our Firefly plot. Will your character be a model citizen and uphold the laws of the Alliance, or are they truly a Browncoat at heart, aiming to misbehave?
Or if you're looking for some good old fashioned vampires, The Vampire Diaries plot might be must for you. Come to Mystic Falls as a human or as one of the numerous supernaturals that live out of the public eye.

Senseless Cruelty was established in December 2003 and now houses a variety of RPs. Canon characters are welcome in most, and original characters are welcome in all! We offer a variety of features from an IC shoutbox to individual character picture galleries. You can even make your character a Facespace page. SC has changed a lot over the last decade, but we've always been very lenient when it comes to writing. We've never discriminated against lower RP levels and we never will. We welcome anyone, whether you just started RPing or you've been RPing for years. We just love these fandoms and want to have fun RPing in their worlds. As we're sure you do, as well!
