Overview:
Sarahpretty much jumped at the call when she was recruited into the Division's ranks, though she is aware of the danger and responsibility associated with her profession. In non-combat tasks such as analysis and data gathering she approaches the task with an almost energetic enthusiasm given her fascination with the unknown. Sarah is very inexperienced in combat situations though and has been working to improve on her self-defense skills while listening to those more experienced in combat. Outside of field work, she is very relaxed and easy-going, and very much eager to make new friends, though she can be a
bit hesitant approaching people personally. She is very, perhaps too trusting towards other people, though if they do break her trust, beware, she is very unforgiving and difficult to reconcile. Sarah is an idealist and tends to believe in the best in people and that there are always alternatives to explore. As such tends to disapprove of pragmatism even if it is the preferable option. Overall, a very honest and noble person at heart if somewhat too idealistic for her own good.

History
Sarah was born in San Francisco, and lived a relatively normal and sheltered childhood with her parents and older brother. Growing up, Sarah developed a fascination with the strange and unknown. Monsters, aliens, artifacts of unknown make and origin, etc. She would later go on to college at UC Davis, graduating with a bachelor's degree in History and minor in philosophy, during this time, Sarah became friends with Samantha Choi. After graduating, Sarah found herself in the equivalent of a mid-midlife crisis, wanting to do something that could bring meaning to her life and make a difference at the same time. Sam, who was looking to attend graduate school, offered her to move into her studio apartment in San Francisco as a means of accomplishing just that, an offer she accepted. Sarah found herself working in a variety of odd jobs, from part-time cook to an assistant at the local public library. Her wanderlust and desire for adventure remaining, Sarah had begun to consider moving out of San Francisco and to take up traveling once she had acquired enough funding, maybe then she could at last find meaning in life.
That was when one day, she came across a package that contained a stone. Transcribed on its surface was a code written in a language that Sarah couldn't understand. She took it home with her, conducted research on whatever possible culture or language could be attributed to the stone's structure. She was in the process of working out a rudimentary encryption when the Division found her.
They interrogated her, asked her questions about where she found the stone, what she had found out about it. When all was said and done, the Division considered her a potential candidate for field work and offered her a position. An offer she accepted. (After all, it probably wouldn't be best to say no to shady, nebulous agencies).

"You do know its almost noon, right?" Sam said to the sleeping form laid out on the air mattress.
"Mmmph" Was her reply. Sam sighed, Sarah as always did not want to get up during mornings. With no choice, she set the mattress to deflate.
"It's Sunday" Sarah grumbled, trying to block out the sound with her pillow.
"Yes I know its Sunday, and I think you mentioned it was your turn to handle the laundry." Sam said
"I'll do it in a couple hours"
"Funny, that's exactly what you said last week." Sam insisted.
Grumbling,Sarah finally stirred out of her slumber "Alright, alright, you win." She said with a yawn "Just let me go take my shower"
As her friend went into the bathroom, Sam couldn't help but wonder, her friend had never been a morning person, but these days, it seemed even harder to stir her out of bed, especially when she had to remind her she had work that day. And when she did come home, she appeared to be rather exhausted, it made her want to ask Sarah on what she did while she was out, though she didn't want to appear as if she nosing into her private life.
For now, though she simply said "Want to me make something for you?"
"Just some toast and Cream of Wheat."
