The Bone [Open]

[Celina Kozac]

Celina scowled down at the bone. "Yeah, that is not human," she agreed. "Question is, do they get teleported off to god knows where...or just poof and gone?"

[Cass Hoban]

"As far as we can tell, it's the latter," Cass told her.

[Tristan Gallant]

"Guess we shoulda brought something to handle it with. Gloves or tongs or something."

[Celina Kozac]

"Damn, no kidding," she said, setting the box down. "If we could find a stick or something, maybe we could just nudge it in." She scanned the empty street. The was a dumpster in an alleyway not far off.

[Cass Hoban]

"Seems worth a shot," Cass shrugged, "Just don't touch it."

[Celina Kozac]

"I'm not gonna fucking touch it," she said, rolling her eyes as she walked over to the alleyway to look for some sort of nudging-prodding-stick-like object. Prospects were not incredible, and slightly smelly. Walking around to the other side, she found an old piece of 2x4, maybe three feet long, wedged under some garbage bags. She gave it a good yank then held it up to inspect.

[Cass Hoban]

Cass, however, had crouched down and drawn a knife. He placed the tip under the bone and shimmied the blade under. He lifted it, balancing it on the blade of his knife and nudging it into the box.

Tristan looked on, agape. He'd never seen Cass do something like that before.

[Celina Kozac]

Celina chuckled and dropped the board. "Well, that works too," she said. "Just hope your knife doesn't decide to vanish."

[Cass Hoban]

He looked at the knife as he slid it back into the scabbard, "Seems fine," he muttered, folding his arms, "Now, do what you need to do and let's transport it."
