James scoffed at Ravinn's comment, looking back at Noa for just a moment. "She'll be fine," James said looking at Ravinn with a glare. In truth, he was quite worried about her. She wasn't the sort that could take a shot to the chest as James might be able to, so she wouldn't be able to last as long, bleeding out like she was. He looked back at her once more. "Just hang in there, Noa," James ordered, then glaring back at Ravinn, "Once I take care of him, we'll get that bullet out of you."

"Take care of me?" Ravinn laughed, "You're out of your league. It's laughable that you think you can defeat me in combat."
"I...I don't think I can last much longer," Noa told him weakly. She had no idea what dying felt like, but to feel all of this blood coming out, her body growing too weak to keep pressure up, she knew this wasn't good in the least.

"You underestimate me," James said coldly, but took a step back, and kneeled next to Noa. "You're lucky you shot her and not me." James placed his hands on her wound to try to slow the blood flow once more. "Damn girl," he muttered, picking her up. He looked towards Ravinn. "I'll be back, I promise you." He then took Noa away, running quickly, her in his arms, bringing her to the hospital to help get her blood flow stopped and the bullet out. He had stayed there, and tried to slow Ravinn down as long as he possibly could with Noa injured as she was.

"Thank you...," Noa told him weakly as she had been taken to the hospital wing. She didn't know much about this man named Ravinn, or his purpose here, but she knew that James had probably wanted to stay and fight him. She was thankful that he had saved her, though, instead of leaving her to die on the ground.

James let out a sort of "hmph" sound in response to her thanks. Ravinn Wolf was extremely dangerous and he had to stop him. He killed innocents fairly often, and that was against everything James was fighting for. He set her down on one of the hospital beds. "She's been shot," James announced to those there, "She's lost a lot of blood already." Those there nodded, a few of them made some sort of surprised comment, and they took her to surgery, where they would get the bullet out and sew her wound up with stitches. It was then that James noticed he had left his gun back there, cursing to himself for being stupid enough to do that.
James then made his way out of the wing and back to where Ravinn had been. He wasn't expecting Ravinn to still be there, but he did need to find Ravinn and retrieve his handgun.

Ravinn hadn't waited around, but he hadn't gotten far either. He was taking his time to walk through the base, relatively unopposed at this time of the night. He had taken down two men, but left them alive, just unconscious. No need for needless bloodshed. The girl had been different, though. Besides, killing her wasn't his plan; just to wound her and see if James cared at all for his comrades, and see what would come of it when James returned.

James focus was trained on one thought: Stop Ravinn Wolf. He didn't think of anything else at the moment, though in the back of his mind, he wondered if Noa was alright. James picked up his gun from the floor, and hurried down the way Ravinn had been heading, two other agents unconscious telling him he was going the right way. He turned a corner and saw him.
James charged towards Ravinn, whose back was to the direction James had come to him, his hands still with Noa's blood that had spilt onto his hands from slowing the flow with pressure, though his gun in his holster, as he knew now it wouldn't help. He threw a punch at Ravinn's head from behind as he called out, "Ravinn!"

Ravinn turned, taking the punch to the side of his face. He stumbled around and shook his head, "Well, that hurt," he told James, spitting some blood out. "Good thing I didn't take that to the front or back of my head." He held up his gun and tossed it aside, "I won't be shooting." He kept his coat on, even if it would hinder his movements. He probably had a much higher level of training, and was confident in his abilities.

"Good," James spat. He still missed his jacket, being used to it, but he didn't have time to dwell on that. Neither did he let his worry about Noa get to him either. "Idiot," James commented, his cold tone coated with a bit of venom, "You think you're so much better than me." Oh, James thought he probably was, but he couldn't let those thoughts poison his mind and make him believe he would lose, or he would lose. Even if it was more likely that he would lose than him winning. "You should have thought twice before shooting my teammate." James was a big person on his team, even if Noa had been stupid letting Ravinn in, and he was quite angry about that. But he never would have let her die on the floor there. No, he couldn't do that to anyone, besides perhaps those he considered evil.

"Come at me, if you think you can beat me," Ravinn challenged, standing his ground. He'd let this man make the move, and just react. If he went into the battle, he had no doubt he'd win, but instead he wanted to react, to give James a chance. It would amuse him. He actually did have time to spend here. If he didn't, then he'd just end the fight, but for now, this was fine.

James didn't say anything else, sending a few punches to Ravinn as if he were a punching bag. James had trained his tail off for something like this, but he always felt he had ended up being inferior. He hadn't had as much talent or training as Ravinn had, even being two years younger than the man, but James liked to think he had a chance.
James soon sent a kick towards Ravinn's gut, a swift one at that, while not stopping his assault with his fists. It was the only other way he could fight now that Ravinn had something to block his bullets, and since James didn't have a chance to pick up one of the few artifacts they had left, as Ravinn had most of them, and the ones they had wouldn't be of too much use to him.

Ravinn blocked a few punches, but let himself take more blows and the kick. He stumbled back and fell, rolling around from the force. He slowly picked himself up and swayed a little, coughing and spitting out blood again.
"Well, you're better than I thought you were," Ravinn told him. "I'm still going to win," he said simply.

"We'll see about that," James replied with a scoff. Actually making him spit some blood made his actual confidence go up, making him believe that maybe he was actually not bad compared to him, and he had a chance, letting that truth seep into the shield he had put up to protect him from the negativity. James went to elbow him in the gut, using his other arm to go for a hit across Ravinn's face with his full forearm to maximize the surface area of the hit.

Ravinn moved forward instead of keeping still. He shot one hand up to try to block James's blow to his face, and drew his other one down to catch the elbow. He wanted to remain in close proximity and take James down from here. It was time to make his move.

"Fight back, you coward," James spat as Ravinn blocked his two hits. He didn't like fighting someone who wouldn't fight him back, because then it almost seemed as if his target was an innocent person, those whom he would protect. Not defending oneself was like making them an innocent person, no matter their actions, but that didn't stop him. He knew that Ravinn was a killer, and he wouldn't let him go on without a fight at least.
